The Club maintains the Longfellow Garden at the Wadsworth-Longfellow House in downtown Portland. From April through October, we plant, weed, prune and water — and give tours — in this lovely green oasis. We also tend the small garden at the Longfellow Arboretum in Portland’s Payson Park.
The lilacs are in bloom, and the apple trees.
The whole world is a flower garden;
